I’m PAKZ, an independent artist and creative from South Wales with a passion for music that goes far beyond just making songs. Music has been a huge part of my life for years, and over time it’s become the way I express myself, tell stories and connect with people. I’ve spent years developing my own sound, learning through experience and pushing myself creatively to become the best version of myself.

My work is heavily influenced by the feeling and character of music from the past, particularly the 2000s, while still finding ways to make it feel fresh and relevant today. I don’t believe in following one formula or trying to sound like everyone else. I’m constantly experimenting, learning and evolving, because I want everything connected to PAKZ to feel authentic and have its own identity.

For me, this journey is about more than numbers, streams or recognition. It’s about building something meaningful, creating timeless music and proving that with enough dedication, consistency and belief in yourself, you can turn a passion into something bigger. This is only the beginning, and I’m here to keep growing, creating and seeing just how far I can take it.

My understanding of music comes from more than just one role. Alongside being an artist, I’ve developed a wide range of skills across production, recording, mixing and musicianship. As a producer, I focus on creating strong musical ideas, arrangements and sounds, while as an engineer I work with recording, editing, mixing and mastering to bring those ideas to their final form. I’m also a multi-instrumentalist, with experience playing drums, guitar, bass and piano, as well as working with MIDI, synthesis and sound design. Being able to understand music from both a technical and instrumental perspective allows me to approach a project from multiple angles, whether I’m building a track from scratch, performing an instrument, shaping a vocal, creating a mix or helping develop an artist’s overall sound.
